Important Safety Instructions
• When the hob is in use, heat and moisture
are generated in its vicinity, which can cause
long-term damage to surfaces!
Make sure that the room is well ventilated!
Use the facilities provided for this or install
an extraction system (e.g. an extractor bonnet)
if necessary!
Do not install the hob behind a door or furniture
front!
• Do not install the hob in an environment with higher
temperatures, near a gas cooker or a paraffin cooker!
• Do not pour cold liquids onto the hob
when the surface is hot!
The resulting thermal shock can damage
the appliance!
• To avoid damaging the cooking surface,
take care not to touch it with jewellery, pointed
or sharp-edged objects or cooking utensils
and only use cookware with a clean, smooth base!
Lift the cookware to move it to avoid scratches
or abrasion marks!
• Ensure that there is sufficient distance between
the cookware and the controls and the edge
of the hob to avoid heat damage caused by this!
