4 Access or write data on the disk using software commands on the host
computer.
The busy indicator lamp lights up while the unit is accessing the disk.
@ What to Do if the Disk Unit Stops Operating
If the disk unit stops operating because the internal temperature becomes too
high, the busy indicator lamp flashes on and off at \.2-second intervals. This
is probably due to a dirty filter inhibiting the air from passing in and cooling
the inside of the unit. Replace the air filter with a new one and see if this does
not solve the problem. If the unit still refuses to operate, unplug the unit and
contact the dealer where you purchased the disk unit or an authorized Sony
dealer.
Ejecting the Disk Cartridge
a Eject the disk cartridge either by using the software-based eject command or
by pressing the eject button.

Note
Do not attempt to eject a disk cartridge while the busy indicator lamp is lit
(except when it is flashing at 1.2-second intervals due to overheating).
Doing so may cause data write errors or may result in loss of data.
