Setting the SCSI ID Address
DIP switches 4, 2 and | (ID SELECT switches) are used to set the RMO-
$550's SCSI ID address.
The default setting for the SCSI ID address is "4." If necessary, you can
change the ID address using the ID SELECT switches.
Be sure to turn off the power before setting the switches.
Notes
« The disk unit cannot operate properly unless the ID address has been set
correctly.
¢ Make certain that you have not selected an ID address already assigned to
another SCSI device. The devices cannot operate properly if they have been
assigned duplicate IDs.
