Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the table to see if you can correct the
malfunction.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. This may put your own and future us-
ers' lives at risk. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out this repair work.

Check the socket with another appliance.
Check the tightness of the mains plug.
Further cooling not required. When the
inside temperature rises, the compressor
automatically switches on.
Select a higher setting (see „Setting the
temperature" on page EN-18).
Select a lower setting (see „Setting the
temperature" on page EN-18).
See "Checking and cleaning the door
seals" on pagepage EN-28.
Place insulation plate between the
appliances or change location.
Maintain maximum freezing capacity. The
maximum freezing capacity is shown on
the appliance's type plate.
Adjust the ambient temperature to the
climate category (see „Intended use" on
page EN-4).
Activate the Super Freeze function. If the
compressor isn't switching on, please
contact our Service Department (see
pagepage EN-33).
