The terms flash point (column 3), ignition temperature (column 4), temperature
category (column 5) and explosion group (column 6) are explained chapter 2 of DIN 57 165 /
VDE 0165.

The igniton temperature of these hydrocarbon-mixes depends on their compositon, in some
cases it can exceed 300 ° C. Compare with the relevant footages in the antecede editon.

The flash point depends primarily on the boiling point of the hydrocarbon-mixes. Compare this
with footages affix II and III antecede editon, including 5th. appendix.
The indicated flash point limits of diesel fuel and heating oil type EL, L, M and S are in
accordance with DIN 51 601 and DIN 51 603.

List of resistance to substances
The list does not claim to be complete. In only a few applications pure
substances are transferred. Even little adds of other substances can bring a
decisively change to the chemical-aggressive characteristics of the mixed
substance. In many cases only applicatory experiences can give information
about an adequate usage.
The following list is created to the best of the knowledge, but it can only be
taken as a guideline without responsiblilty.
