Trouble shooting
Always disconnect the pump from the mains before working on the pump!
Pump does not start or stops
Possible cause
Power failure (insufficiant fusing)
Connecting cable damaged
Motor protection switch disconnects
Possible cause
Impeller is blocked
Viscosity of liquit too high
Pump does not intake
Possible cause
No or too less liquid in the
pump housing
Suction hose (or suction basket)
is leaky , the system has to
much air
Suction basket is stucked in the mud
Suction head too high
Operation without suction basket,
the pump is blocked by solids
(stones, piece of wood, etc.)
Bad pump performance
Possible cause
Incorrect rotating direction
Suction basket is blocked
Suction hose is bended
Diffuser or impeller is worn out
Hand-piston pump does not evacuate the housing
Possible cause
Suction hose is leaky
Trouble shooting
Connect to appropriate fused power source
Replace connecting cable
Trouble shooting
Release impeller by moving and clean the pump
Cut back viscosity of liquid or/and reduce input
Trouble shooting
Fill in liquid by using hand-piston pump
Seal suction hose or suction basket properly, check gasket
of couplings.
Pull out suction basket and place in thin fluid
Position pump closer to the liquid
Unmount pump front by removing the 4 lock screws.
Pull out the diffuser, remove solids from the pump
housing
Troube shooting
Change the 2 phases of the supply line or reverse
the polarity of the power source
Remove solids from suction basket, and probably
put the suction basket itself in a basket
Positon suction hose without bends,
use optional hose anti-kinck protection
Replace worn out parts
Troubel shooting
Replace suction hose, check hand-piston pump, see chapter
„Maintenance", p.22
