Maintenance
1. After using the pump drain the pump unscrew drain screw pos. 23 and clean
pump housing and hand-piston pumps after using the pump with residual
aggresive fluid. Collect residual fluids carefully and dispose them properly
according to local regulations! When using the pump for training exercise with
clear water only drain the pump by opening drain screw pos. 23. The hand-pistion
pump has at least liquid when the piston rod is inserted.

Afterwards strip down centrifugal pump and hand-piston pump and clean all parts
scrupulous.
2. Disassembling the centrifugal pump
Unmount pump cover by unscrewing the 4 nuts (WS 13), take off the diffuser and
clean all parts. Do not remove the impeller!
3. Disassembling of the hand-piston pump
3.1. Unmount hand-piston pump for disassembling. Therefore, unscrew suction- and
pressure hose (WS 27) and remove the bolts of bearing and lever.
3.2. Remove nuts (WS 13) from the stud screw and take off the cylinder with piston
and piston rod from the valve housing. Never clamp the cylinder into a bench
vice or hold it with a nipper.
3.3. Remove lock screws from the valve housing (WS 24). Pull off lower valve seat
and remove the ball.
3.4. Clean all parts properly and lubricate it slightly with machine oil or grease.
4. Assembling of the hand-piston pump
4.1. Mind to reinstall the o-ring seals.
4.2. Lubricate sliding surface with machine oil or grease.
4.3. Insert piston and piston rod into the cylinder and put the cylinder smoothly on the
valve housing.
4.4. Assemble the stud screws. Mind to fix the nuts equally, and not too strong.
4.5. Check if the piston rod can be moved hand-operated.
4.6. Insert balls and valve seat into the valve housing and fasten the lock screws.
4.7. Mount the hand-piston pump vice versa to 3.1.
5. Check if the hand-piston pump and centrifugal pump works properly.
Warranty conditons
Warranty is accomplished acording to the valid terms of sale, however, not for
any damages due to improper handling, normal abrasion or the operation in
non-approved areas.
Warranty is limited to defects in design, materials and manufacture. In case of
complaints, kindly return the pump to the supplier or to an authorized service
shop. Pump must not be disassambled.
Non-compliance with this instruction book may cause additional damages and
reduce the lifetime of the pump.
