When using devices with connector terminals, implement connections such that the
separation distances are in compliance with standards and connecting lines cannot
become disconnected.
The cover for the connector terminals and display can only be opened after a secu-
rity lock – a grub screw with a hexagon socket – has been removed. The screw is
located on the right-hand side underneath the cover. After the cover for the display
and terminals has been fitted, the security lock must be screwed in again. It is not
necessary to lubricate the threads when doing so.
The clamping area of the cable gland amounts 10 to 14 mm. Therefore only con-
necting wires of 10 to 14mm external diameters are suitable.
The cable glands and blind plugs, used by BD|SENSORS are screwed with a
torque of 10 Nm.
Electrically connect the device in accordance with the specifications given on the type
plate, the following connection table and the connection diagram:
