1. General information
1.1 Information concerning the user manual
This user manual contains important information regarding the proper handling of the de-
vice. You must therefore read this user manual carefully before installation and commis-
sioning.
Follow the safety and handling instructions that are set out in this user manual. Compli-
ance with the applicable accident prevention regulations and safety regulations as well as
with national installation standards and recognised codes of practice must also be en-
sured.
When installing, maintaining and cleaning the device, it is essential that you observe the
applicable regulations, the explosion protection regulations and provisions (VDE 0160,
VDE 0165 and, if applicable, EN 60079-14) and the accident prevention regulations (UVV).
The design of the device meets the following standards:
EN 60079-0:2012+A11:2013/ IEC 60079-0 Ed.6, EN 60079-1:2014/ IEC 60079-1 Ed. 7,
EN 60079-11:2012/ IEC 60079-11 Ed. 6, EN 60079-26:2015/ IEC 60079-26 Ed. 3.
This user manual is part of the device and should be kept accessible to personnel at all
times in the immediate vicinity of the installation location of the device.
