Charging the integrated battery
DANGER! Risk of fatal electric shock! Only charge the appliance
indoors in dry locations away from water. For example, do not charge the
appliance next to or above a sink filled with water.
Notes:
► Before using the appliance, the integrated battery must be completely
charged.
► The USB charging cable 8 and the USB port 7 are used only to charge
the internal battery. They are not suitable for data transmission.
► The operating time with a fully charged battery is about 2 hours.
► The battery can be recharged at any time and at any charge level unless
the battery is fully charged. The maximum charging time until the appli-
ance is fully charged is approximately 180 minutes (3 hours).
► Only charge the appliance with a USB power adapter with protection
class II that is approved for use with household appliances and has an
output voltage of 5 V
► Use only the supplied USB charging cable 8 to charge the integrated
battery. Disconnect the USB charging cable 8 from the appliance when
charging is complete.
1) Make sure that the appliance is switched off. The On/Off switch 6 must
be set to "0".
2) Connect the USB-A plug of the USB charging cable 8 to a suitable mains
adapter.
3) Connect the USB-C plug of the USB charging cable 8 to the USB port 7
on the appliance.
4) Plug the mains adapter into a mains power outlet.
The charge level indicator 5 lights up red while the battery is charging.
As soon as the charge level indicator 5 lights up green, the battery is fully
charged.
