Connect the leads to the device free of
tension and according to the circuit dia-
gram. Make sure of correct connection of
the protecting grid.
When connecting the storage
heater to automatic charge control
it is also possible, if fuses have been
removed, for a voltage to be present on
terminals A1/Z1 and A2/Z2.
1-phase connection should only be
carried out according to the
technical connection conditions of the
energy supply company up to ETW 18-E.
2.4 Commissioning
2.4.1 Functional test
Test the function of the fan by activating
the room temperature regulator.
2.4.2 Charge
The devices can be commissioned without
further ado after a successful functional
test. Charging can take place either by
hand setting the electronic charge
regulator or automatically by means of the
available elthermatic
®
charge control.
During the first charge, the charge should
be recorded in kWh and compared with
the maximum permissible charge from
cold as set out in Table 1 on Page 2. The
recorded charge should not exceed the
maximum permissible charge from cold as
set out in Table 1 on Page 2.
During the first charge there will
be a certain smell, as a result of
which be careful to ensure satisfactory
airing of the room. (A 1.5-fold change of
air e.g. window partly open). It is
advisable not to sleep in a bedroom
during the first charge.
2.5 Reinstallation,
commissioning, reconstruction
and reinstallation of storage
heaters
When reinstalling a heater dismantled due
to repairs or used at another site, proceed
as on first installation according to these
installation instructions.
In such cases make sure especially that
sections of the heat insulation which have
suffered noticeable damage or
deterioration which might encroach on
safety are replaced with new sections.
Before commissioning, carry out an
insulation test and measure nominal power
consumption (see 2.3).
2.5.1 Reassembling a storage heater
For reassembly, addition- and installation
work, instructions for each kit included
should be observed.

2.4 Mise en service
2.4.1 Test de fonctionnement

restitution en actionnant le thermostat

2.4.2 Charge
Après le test de fonctionnement, l'appareil
peut être mis en service sans dispositions
particulières. La charge s'opère soit
manuellement à l'aide du bouton de
réglage du thermostat de charge
électronique, soit automatiquement par le
régulateur de charge.
Lors de la première accumulation, il
convient de relever la consommation de la
charge en kWh et de la comparer avec la
charge maximale admissible à partir d'un
appareil froid (voir tableau 1, page 2). La
charge stockée dans l'accumulateur ne doit
en aucun cas dépasser le niveau maximum
admissible indiqué au tableau 1 de la page 2.
La première accumulation
s'accompagne du dégagement
d'une odeur désagréable. C'est pourquoi
il est impératif d'aérer suffisamment la
pièce (renouvellement d'air à 150 %, par
exemple avec les fenêtres basculées vers
l'avant). Autant que possible, la mise en
charge initiale d'un radiateur à accumu-
lation installé dans une chambre à
coucher ne doit pas avoir lieu pendant le
sommeil.
2.5 Remontage, remise en état,
modification du radiateur à
accumulation
Pour le remontage d'un radiateur à
accumulation suite à une réparation ou à
un déplacement, il importe de respecter
les instructions de la présente notice
montage comme pour une première mise
en service.
Dans ces cas, veiller tout particulièrement
aux points suivants :
– Les éléments d'isolation thermique
laissant apparaître des détériorations ou
des altérations susceptibles d'être
préjudiciables à la sécurité, doivent
obligatoirement être remplacés par des
éléments neufs.

de technische aansluitings-
voorwaarden van het electriciteitsbedrijf
alleen tot de ETW 18 E gebeuren.
2.4 Inbedrijfneming
2.4.1 Functiecontrole
De functie van de ventilator door bediening
van de kamertemperatuurregelaar
controleren.
2.4.2 Oplading
De apparaten kunnen na een uitgevoerde
functieproef zonder bijzondere voorzorgs-
maatregelen in bedrijf worden genomen.
De oplading gebeurd ofwel met de hand
over de instelling van de elektronische
oplaadregelaar, of automatisch over de
voorhanden elthermatic
®
oplaadregeling.
Gedurende de eerste oplading moet de
oplading in kWh worden bepaald en met
de in de tabel 1 op blz. 2 vermelde max.
toelaatbare oplading van koude toestand
worden vergeleken. De bepaalde oplading
mag de max toelaatbare oplading volgens
tabel 1 op blz. 2 van de koude toestand
niet overschrijden.
Gedurende de eerste oplading
ontstaat er een geur, daarom moet
er voor een voldoende ventilatie van de
kamer worden gezorgd (1,5-voudige
luchtvervanging b.v. gekantelde venster-
positie). De eerste oplading in de slaap-
kamer mag niet gedurende het slapen
worden uitgevoerd.
2.5 De herplaatsing, onderhoud,
verbouwing van de warmte-
accumulator
Bij de herplaatsing van een op grond van
een reparatie gedemonteerde, of reeds op
een andere plaats in werking gezette
warmteaccumulator, moet, zoals bij de
eerste plaatsing, volgens deze montage-
aanwijzing worden gewerkt.
In deze gevallen is er bijzondere attentie
gevraagd:
Delen van de warmteisolatie aan die
beschadigingen of veranderingen te her-
kennen zijn, die de veiligheid kunnen
belemmeren, moeten door nieuwe delen
