Procedure (Fig. D)
Switch off the tool and unplug the mains
plug. Allow the tool to cool down.
Always replace both carbon brushes at
the same time.
1. Loosen the screw (7) on the service
panel (6) and remove the service pan-
el (6).
2. Lift the pressure spring (27) out of the
groove for the pressure spring (23) of
the carbon brush (24).
3. Pull the contact plug (28) off the con-
tact shoe (26) and remove the carbon
brush (24) upwards from the guide.
4. Insert a new carbon brush (24) into
the guide with the stranded wire (25)
facing upwards.
5. Place the stranded wire (25) in an arc
through the side opening of the guide.
