DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS / ANWEISUNGEN FUR DES AUSBAU
ME DECK ASS'Y REMOVAL
To remove the Upper Cover, Under and Escutcheon Ass'y, refer to EXPLODED VIEW(UNIT)on page 48.
(1) Disconnect the 7P and 5P connectors before disconnecting the deck.
(2) When the deck is mounted back in place, reconnect them after tightening the Screws.
(3) Tighten the screws in the order of @, @, ©,and ©.

Mi BATTERY (BT601) REPLACEMENT
(1) Remove the top cover, bottom cover, and deck assermbly.
(2) Use the connector

14.4V to
~ Red-lead and Black-lead to ground, and set power switch
is ON.
MM HEAD REPLACEMENT
(3) Keep SW601 to the arrow 4) direction.
(4) Unsolder the battery terminals on the pattern end and
replace the battery with a new one.
(5) Keep SW601 to the arrow
4 direction.
e Remove the two screws (A).
® Remove the one screw (B) of flexible P. C. B.
e Remove the tape head.
(To assemble, proceed in reverse
order of disassembly.)

® NOTES:
» After the battery replacement, install the deck assemtly
and check that all the functions of the set operate nornally.
