lf another station (not received now) starts broadcasting traffic information while the EON TP station
(EON TP indicator is illuminated) is being received in TP mode, that station is selected to receive traffic
information. When the broadcast of traffic information ends, the previous station is received again. This
function varies depending on the ON or OFF position of the LOC switch as follows:
@ON:
Traffic information only the area where you are in now will be received.
@ OFF:
Traffic information around the area where you are in now will be received.
Note: If it is not necessary to listen to the traffic information broadcast by another station, press the TP/
TA button to cancel this function and return to the previous station.
WHAT PROVIDES EON CAPABILITIES
This unit equipped with EON (Enhanced Other Networks) also keeps track of the alternative frequencies
of other stations that are related to the one you are listening to, boosting the capabilities of the AF
function. When you select one of these related stations using a preset button, the tuner can locate it
immediately, without having to search.
lf you are listening to a station that does not broadcast traffic information, this unit equipped with EON
will also monitor traffic information
broadcasts
on related stations, automatically
tuning
in these
broadcasts when they occur, after which returning to your original station.
