Radio Frequency Indicator
1 Turn the knob clockwise to switch
on the power.
2 To select the desired band
Each time this button is pressed, the band will
change in the following order:
FM1 — FM2 ~— AM (LW/MW)

Initial operation is preset for FM1 band.
3 Manual tuning
By pressing the "\V TUNE" or "TUNE A" but-
ton, you can tune the frequency downward or
upward.
4 Seek tuning
Press "V TUNE" or "TUNE A" button for more
than a half second, seek tuning will operate
and stop automatically on the next strong
station. Continue this operation until you find
the desired station.
For items 6 and 7

5 To tune in a preset station
Press the preset buttons to recall! the previous
preset stations. (See page 6, Step 4)
6 To reduce interference during FM
stereo broadcasts (MONO Button)
Press the MONO button to switch monaural
reception in case much interference is present
in an FM stereo signal or to improve the listen-
ing quality of weak FM broadcasts.
ré Switch from DX to LOC
Normally, searching stops even at a weak
wave station.
To stop searching at a strong wave station
only, press this button.
* Push Seek
Press the main knob, seek tuning will operate
upward and stop automatically on the next
strong station. Continue this operation until you
find the desired station.
Modes are switched in the following sequence when the MONO-LOC button is pressed repeatedly.
