• Attach the dust bag to the
power tool with the supplied
dust nozzle before starting
work.

Do not allow grinding dusts to get near
an open fire, dusts can be explosive.
• Always wear safety goggles
and a dust mask when carrying
out work with the power tool.
Milling certain materials (e.g. lead
paint, some types of wood) produces
harmful or toxic dusts. Contact with or
inhalation of these dusts may pose a
hazard to the operator or nearby per-
sons.
• Do not use a blunt or damaged
router blade. Blunt or damaged
router blades cause increased friction,
can get jammed and lead to imbal-
ance.
• Before use, check that the guard retrac-
tion system is working properly.
• Press the spindle lock (1) only
when the power tool is at a
standstill.
• Use only the attachment tools
listed in this instruction manual.
Do not use cutting discs or circular saw
blades.
Residual risks
There will always be residual risks even
if you operate this power tool according
to the instructions. The following hazards
may occur in connection with the type and
design of this power tool:
• Health injuries resulting from the effect
of hand/arm vibration in the event that
the tool is used over a longer period
of time or is not used and maintained
properly.
• Cutting injuries
• Burns if attachment tools are touched
with bare skin directly after use.
• Injuries and property damage caused
by loose parts of the running power
tool that are unexpectedly ejected from
the power tool due to sudden damage,
wear or incorrect insertion.
WARNING! Danger due to electro-
magnetic field generated while the tool is
in operation. Under certain circumstances,
this field may negatively affect active or
passive medical implants. In order to re-
duce the danger of serious or fatal injur-
ies, we recommend that individuals who
wear medical implants should consult their
doctor and the manufacturer of the im-
plant before operating the machine.
Preparation
WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional start-up. Do not insert the plug
into the outlet until the device is fully pre-
pared for use.
Control elements
Familiarise yourself with the operating ele-
ments before using the device for the first
