13 Maintenance
DANGER
Danger of severe or fatal injury or damage to the interior of the piping system and
valve
During maintenance work (except for visual inspections), observe the respective notes and
warning notices in the section Troubleshooting help.
The self-acting function of the valve requires maintenance to ensure that it continues to operate perfectly. It is
important for maintenance workto take place in a planned manner and periodic intervals.
The maintenance plan is a recommendation by the manufacturer Mankenberg, which should be supplemented
by practical experience gained by the operator under the prevailing operating conditions.
Mankenberg shall assume no liability for damages resulting from improper maintenance and/or repairs.
The following information are required to order spare parts and maintenance kits:
Factory number, e.g. 19XXXX-3, or article number and order number
Sample plan for maintenance work

adjusted depending on the prevailing operating conditions, the properties of the medium in the system and the
experiences of the user.

Beware of crushing hazard: Take valve out of operation for cleaning!

Request maintenance kit and replacement instructions from Mankenberg.
When restarting a previously dismantled valve, you must check the valve for leaktightness and proper function
as well as the actuators and functional components for correct calibration!
