6 Marking of the fitting

Each fitting bears the following markings as a minimum:

Back pressure regulator + type
Nominal diameter e.g. DN or G and numerical
value
Nominal pressure PN or Class and numerical
value
Pressure range Pressure range and numerical
values
Max. permitted Temperature and numerical

Body material e.g. CrNiMo steel
Flow direction Indicated by an arrow
The markings (in the case of fittings made of deep-drawn stainless steel, they are etched into the body) should
neither be covered nor painted over, so that the fitting remains identifiable.

7 Transport and storage

NOTICE
Transport damage due to impacts
The moving internal parts of the valve can be damaged by impacts.
» Even packed valves should be transported free of impacts!
NOTICE
Pilot-operated pressure control valves in intermediate flange design with
slotted disks are particularly sensitive to impact and dirt
The protective packaging at the body must not be damaged during transport and storage.
