SUPPRESSION
OF _ INTER-
FERENCE
During
driving
or
running
of
the
engine interference
may
be produced
that
will
destroy
the
units
sound
reproduction.
Most
of
this
inter-
ference,
if originating
from
the car,
may
be
suppressed
by
fitting
a
suppressor
to the electrical circuitry.
1) Interference
from
Dynamo
or
Alternator
a) Disconnect the battery.
b) Loosen one of the Dynamo or
Alternator
fixing bolts, scrape
away
dirt
or
paint
on
the
dynamo
body
under
the bolt
head so that a metal to metal
contact
is possible.
Slide
the
bracket of a 1 mfd suppression
capacitor under the bolt head.
c) Tighten
the
bolt
and
then
Gonnect
the capacitor's
flexi-
ble
lead
to
the
Dynamo
or
Alternator main
(largest) out-
put terminal.

vorhanden
ist.
Schieben
Sie
den
Fu
eines 1 mfd Entstor-
kondensators
unter
den
Schraubenkopf.
c) Ziehen
Sie
die
Schraube
an
und
schlieRen
Sie
dann
die
flexible Kondensatorleitung an
der
Hauptausgangsklemme
(gr6Rte)
der
Lichtmaschine
oder
des
(Kondensators
an.
a) Débrancher la batterie.
