PRESET TUNING
FREQUENCY PRESETTING
Allows three stations per STATION CALL button (press once, twice,
or three times to select).
1. Set the BAND selector buttons to either FM or
AM.
2. Tune in the desired station.

reception using the Direct Access Tuning mode.

In addition to station frequencies, the MPX MODE can also be
preset.
3. Press the MEMORY button.
4. Press the STATION CALL button into which you
wish to preset the station.
e Press the STATION CALL button while the MEMORY indicator is
flashing (about 5 seconds).
e Use the STATION CALL buttons (0 through 9) to select a preset
channel. One press selects the 1 — 10 range, two presses 11 —
20, and three presses 21 — 30.
[Example] If you press button (*3]:
Once — STATION 3
Twice — STATION 13
Three times — STATION 23
Press a STATION CALL button within two seconds.
When the display stops flashing, the station is preset.
NOTE:
Do not press buttons while the display is still flashing.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to preset additional stations.
A total of 30 AM and FM stations may be preset. When you store a
new preset, it takes the place of the previously stored station (if
any).
LISTENING TO BROADCASTS USING
PRESET TUNING
1. Press the STATION CALL button into which the
desired station has been preset.
®@ When the function button is set to a function other than TUNER,
it will switch to the TUNER function automatically if one of the
STATION CALL buttons is pressed.
Tuning can be performed simply and accurately following the
above procedure.
2. Adjust the volume and tone as desired.
® Make sure that TAPE 2 MONITOR button is turned on when
using an audio adaptor component (graphic equalizer, etc.)
connected to the TAPE 2 MONITOR jacks.
NOTE:
The contents of the STATION CALL buttons will be retained for
several days, even if the receiver power cord is unplugged.
if a preset station has been erased, preset it again.
Last station memory
The last received AM and FM stations remain stored despite input
selector and/or POWER
switching. To recall, use BAND selector
buttons.

SYNTONISATION PREREGLEE
PREREGLAGE D'UNE FREQUENCE
Accepte trois stations par touche STATION CALL (appuyer une fois,
deux fois ou trois fois pour la sélection).
1. Régler les touches de sélection BAND soit FM, soit AM.
2. Syntoniser la station désirée.

informations sur la réception a l'aide du mode de syntonisation
a acces direct.

En plus des fréquences de stations, le mode Multiplex (MPX
MODE) peut également étre préréglé.
3. Appuyer la touche sur MEMORY.
4. Appuyer

la touche
STATION
CALL
dans
laquelle vous désirez prérégler la station.
e Appuyer sur la touche STATION CALL pendant que le voyant
MEMORY clignote (environ 5 secondes).
® Utiliser les touches STATION CALL (0 — 9) pour sélectionner un
canal préréeglé. Une pression sélectionne la gamme de 1 a 10,
deux pressions celle de 11 a 20 et trois pressions celle de 21 a
30.
[Exemple]: si vous appuyez sur la touche | *3]:
Une fois - STATION 3
Deux fois - STATION 13
Trois fois - STATION 23
Appuyer
sur
une
touche
STATION
CALL
dans
les deux
secondes qui suivent.
Quand I'affichage cesse de clignoter, la station est préréglée.
REMARQUE:
Ne pas appuyer sur des touches pendant que I'affichage est en
train de clignoter.

5. Répéter
les étapes
de 1 a 4 pour
prérégler
d'autres stations.
Un total de 30 stations AM et FM peut 6tre préréglé. Lorsque vous
mettez en mémoire
un nouveau
préréglage, i! remplacera ja
Station qui était en mémoire (s'il y en avait une).

LA
SYNTONISATION PREREGLEE
1. Appuyer

laquelle la station désirée a été préréglée.
* Quand le sélecteur d'entrée est réglé sur une fonction autre que
TUNER, il passera automatiquement
sur TUNER forsqu'une des
touches STATION CALL est enfoncée.
La syntonisation peut se faire simplement et précisément dela
maniére indiquée ci-dessus.
2. Régler le volume et la tonalité aux volumes désirés.
© Vérifier que fa touche TAPE 2 MONITOR est enclenchée lors de
('utilisation
d'un
composant
adaptateur
audio
(égaliseur
graphique, etc.) connecté aux prises TAPE 2 MONITOR.
REMARQUE:
Le contenu des touches STATION CALL sera conservé pendant
plusieurs jours, méme si le cordon secteur est débranche.
Si une station préréglée a été effacée, la prérégler une nouvelle fois.
Mémoire de la derniére station
Les derniéres stations AM et FM recues resteront en mémoire
malgré les commutations du sélecteur d'entrée et/ou I'interrupteur
POWER. Pour les rappeler, utiliser les touches de sélection BAND.
