® Before operating the unit, be sure to set it as shown above.
@® Turn on the POWER switch.
@® Set the BASS tone control to the center position.
@® Set the TREBLE tone control to the center position.
® Set the VOLUME control to the "0" position.
LISTENING TO A BROADCAST
@ Check that al! terminals are properly connected before
switching on the unit.
AUTO TUNING (FM reception)
See Fig | 10) .
The electronic tuning circuit inside the unit will search for the station.
1. Press the TUNER
button of the input selector
buttons.
2. Set the BAND selector buttons for FM reception.
3. Press the TUNING MODE button to establish the
AUTO tuning mode (the AUTO indicator lights).
4. Press the TUNING buttons "+" or "—" fora higher
or lower frequency as desired.
The frequency will change rapidly during scanning. The AUTO
TUNING will stop automatically when the station is located and
the TUNED indicator will light up.
NOTE:
When the AUTO TUNING is in use, reception may not be possible
over long distances or when signals are weak. At these times manual
tuning is recommended.

e Préparer l'unité comme indiqué ci-dessus avant la mise en marche
du récepteur.
@ Appuyer sur la touche SPEAKERS correspondant au systéme qui
sera utilisé.
@® Mettre l'interrupteur d'alimentation (POWER) en position sous
tension.
® Placer la commande BASS dans la position centrale.
@® Placer la commande TREBLE dans Ia position centrale.
© Placer la commande VOLUME sur la position "0".
Placer la commande BALANCE dans la position centrale.
@ Placer la touche TAPE 2 MONITOR
sur OFF {le voyant TAPE 2
s'éteint).
ECOUTE D'EMISSIONS
e S'assurer que toutes les bornes sont correctement connectées
avant de mettre le récepteur sous tension.
© Ne pas oublier de régler la touche TAPE 2 MONITOR sur OFF lors de
I'écoute d'émissions AM ou FM.
AUTO TUNING (réception FM)
Voir la Fig. [10] .
Le circuit de syntonisation électronique incorporé dans le récepteur
cherchera les stations.
1. Enfoncer
la touche
TUNER
des
touches
du
sélecteur d'entrée.
2. Régler les touches de sélection BAND
pour la
réception FM.
3. Appuyer
sur
la touche
TUNING
MODE
pour
passer en mode de syntonisation AUTO (le voyant
AUTO s'allume).
4. Appuyer sur la touche TUNING "+" ou "—" pour
obtenir une fréquence plus élevée ou plus basse.
La fréquence changera rapidement durant le balayage. AUTO
TUNING s'arrétera automatiquement
quand la station est trouvée
et le voyant TUNED s'allumera.
REMARQUE:
Lors de [utilisation de AUTO
TUNING, /a réception de stations
éloignées ou de signaux faibles n'est peut-étre pas possible.
Effectuer, dans ces cas, une syntonisation manuelle.
