Sound Memory
With this unit's Sound Memory features, you can store your favorite each audio level of volume/bass/treble/
balance,/fader in up to 6 memories on the preset buttons 1 through 6, allowing you to recall it from memory
in any mode of FM, AM, TAPE, CD changer and AUX,
' 1 To store audio levels in memory
| @ Adjust volume/bass/treble/balance/fader leveis by following the procedures on Page 4.
@ When desired selections have been made, press the SEL button to select the SOUND mode, and
hold one of the nee buttons for more than 2 seconds to store them in memory.

Display shows "SJuUN3"and the selected button number.
2 To recall audio levels trom memory

Press the SEL button to select the SOUND mode, and press one of the preset buttons to recall the

audio level from memory in each mode of FM, AM, TAPE, CD changer and AUX.

Display shows "SJUNJ" for 2 seconds and the selected button number.
Notes:
®@ When the audio level is adjusted during the sound memory recalling, the display will change to the
audio adjusting mode.
@ The following shows the initial set values of each audio mode in this unit.

1 To change to the tuner mode
Press the "PWR" button on.

2 To select the desired band
Each time this button is pressed, the band will
change in the following sequence:
FM1
FM2
FM3 —
AM (LW.MW)

3 Manual tuning
By pressing the ~ v TUNE" or "TUNE A" but-
ton, you can tune the frequency downward
or
upward.
4 Seek tuning
Press " v SEEK" or "SEEK "" button for more
than a half second, seek tuning will operate
and
stop
automatically
on
the
next
strong
Station.
Hold
the
button
depressed
to se-
quentially
advance
or
decrease
successive
available stations
untii you find the desired
_ one.

| 5 To tune in a preset station
Press the preset buttons to recall the previous
preset stations. (Please refer to the step 4 on
page 6 .)
6 To reduce interference during FM
stereo broadcasts (MONO Button)
Press the MONO-LOC button for more than 2
seconds to switch monaural reception in case
much interference is present in an FM stereo
signal or to improve the listening quality of
weak
FM broadcasts.
Press MONO-LOC
