Tuning step conversion (Voltage convertible amplifier com-
bined tuner only)
Normally set to 9KHz tuning intervals during AM (MW) station
tuning of the unit.
After all connections are compleated:
1 Turn the power on by depressing the amplifiers POWER
button.
? Set the band to AM (MW) by pressing the BAND button
until the AM or MW indicator lights on the FL display.
3 Keep the FM MODE
button depressed
until the "AM
530kHz" appears on the FL display (approx. 5 seconds).
Tuning intervals will now be set to 10kHz and the micro-
computer will be set its initial mode.
To set 9kHz tuning intervals
To set the tuner to 9kHz tuning intervals, simply press the
RESET button located on the rear panel of the tuner with a
ball point pen etc..
How to use the antenna plug
If you wish to use an FM antenna other than the one provided
with this tuner, the antenna's cable (75 ohm coaxial cable) must
first be attached to the provided FM antenna plug before it can
be connected to the tuner's 75 2 terminal (as shown in the fol-
lowing illustrations).
