Attach plates (externally) without drilling any additional holes.
Equip the enclosure only with suitable equipment (e.g. cable entries, stopping
plugs, drain valves or breathers) that is verifiably approved for use in hazardous
areas and meets the requirements of the IP protection rating. See the label on the
device for the approved Ex zones and the IP protection rating.
Seal any unused cable entries with stopping plugs that have been approved for the
relevant type of protection.
Seal all open drilled holes using suitable equipment.
Do not install or operate the device in strong charge-generating environments.
