Break out the round opening for the temperature
switch (Fig. 9-1) inside the installation box. To do
this, use a screwdriver to lever out the perforated
opening.

Bend both lugs of the rectangular hole for the con-
trol panel cable (Fig. 10-1) outside the installation
box inwards by least 90°.

Place the template on the installation box.
Fix the template to the installation box with adhesive
tape.
With a 2.8 mm bit, drill the two holes for the screws
and pre-drill the hole for the temperature switch
(Fig. 11-1).
Remove the template.
Use a stepped drill bit to drill the centre hole for the
temperature switch to 17 mm (Fig. 11-2).

Practical tip: Use a stepped drill bit
Debur the large hole (17 mm).

Place the template on the installation box.
Fix the template to the installation box with adhesive
tape.
Pre-drill four holes in the corners with a 2.8 mm bit
and enlarge with an 8 mm bit (Fig. 12).
Remove the template without causing any damage.
Saw out the rectangular hole. You can use a jigsaw,
a multi-function tool with metal cutting disk or small
tin snips (Fig. 12).

If using a jigsaw, use a fine-tooth metal blade and, if
necessary, switch off pendulum stroke.
Debur the edges of the rectangular hole with a file.

(Fig. 13-1) Using four 3.5 x 9.5 mm self-tap-
ping screws, fix the installation box interior part
(Fig. 13-3) to the installation box exterior part
(Fig. 13-2). Pay attention to right or left-side installa-
tion (Fig. 13-4) of the S-heater (only for S 5004).

Three 3.5 x 9.5 mm self-tapping screws that are in-
tended for the bottom separated part of the installa-
tion box interior part are no longer required.
CAUTION
Eye injuries from flying metal cuttings or
sparks.
Wear safety glasses.
