Cable entries and cable specifications
Cable entries of the sensor cable connection:
The sensor cable connection between the sensor and transmitter is the type of
protection EEx i (electrode circuit) and EEx e (coil circuit).
Optional M20x1,5 or ½" NPT or G ½" threads for cable entries or PG 13.5 cable
glands. (In any case, an EEx e cable gland is to be selected).
Only the cable prefabricated and delivered by E+H my be used!
FS version

For the FL version (with pre-amplifier), the following applies:
• Maximum cable length between sensor and transmitter 200 m for explosion
group IIB.
• Maximum cable length between sensor and transmitter 120 m for explosion
group IIC.
For the remote version II2G/II3G resp. Zone 1/2, the following applies additionally:
• For the cable, sealing elements and the installation, the requirements of the
applicable standards of category 3G are to be fulfilled.
• The signal and coil cable between sensor and transmitter must be installed with
shielding (acc. to cable specs.). Grounding of the shield is via the ground terminals
in the sensor and transmitter housings.
• The signal and coil cables are to be run protected from mechanical damage,
corrosion or chemicals (e.g. solvents), and heat.
Fuse exchange
Use only the following fuse types, which are mounted on the power supply board:
For 24 V (2.0 A fuse, slow blow, breaking capacity 1500 A),
for 230 V (1.0 A fuse, slow blow, breaking capacity 1500 A) .
