17. Troubleshooting
m WARNING
Danger of injury due to unintentional start-up of the device!
• Before working on the device, turn the on/off switch (11) to the "Off" position and remove the spark plug connector (31).

Danger of burning!
• Do not touch hot silencers, cylinders or cooling fins.
ATTENTION
• If the fault cannot be rectified, the device must be checked by customer service.
Fault
Engine cannot be started
Engine is difficult to start
Engine has too little power and
vibrates excessively
Engine dies during operation
Engine loses power during opera-

Device does not build up pressure
Device leaks, water drips from the
bottom of the device

Possible cause
Automatic oil cut-off starts.
Spark plug sooty
No fuel
Spark plug connector is disconnect-
ed
Spark plug connector is damaged
Ignition does not work
Out-of-date fuel or water in fuel
Spark plug does not produce an

Carburettor incorrectly adjusted
Contaminated air filter
No fuel
Engine speed is too low
Nominal speed of the engine too

Low-pressure nozzle fitted
Nozzle clogged / washed out
Suction filter clogged
Air in the system
Water supply volume too low
Supply line to the high-pressure
pump leaking or clogged
Pump is defective

Remedy
Check oil level, fill with engine oil.
Clean or replace spark plug.
Top up with fuel.
Connect the spark plug connector to the
spark plug.
Contact customer service.
Contact customer service.
Drain fuel and fill with new fuel.
Contact customer service.
Contact customer service.
Clean the air filter.
Top up with fuel.
Operate the trigger slower. If the fault
persists, contact Customer Service.
Check the nominal speed of the engine;
contact customer service.
Fit the high-pressure nozzle.
Clean / renew nozzle
Clean the suction filter.
Bleed the device (see "Before commis-
sioning").
Check the water supply volume.
Check all supply lines to the high-pres-
sure pump. Contact customer service.
Contact customer service.
A maximum of 3 drops / minute is permis-
sible. In case of severe leakage, have the
device checked by customer service.
Fit the low-pressure nozzle.
Check or clean the cleaning agent hose
