Allowed and disallowed positioning of the
AXKID ENVIROKID
The AXKID ENVIROKID can only be used together with the AXKID ENVIROBASE which can only be installed rear-facing using ISOFIX.
It is approved for use in all i-Size approved seating positions but may also fit in other non i-Size approved ISOFIX seating positions. Check
your vehicle instruction manual to find suitable seating positions or check the vehicle list on www.axkid.com.
Front passenger seat with ISOFIX (no active airbag)
Front passenger seat with ISOFIX (active airbag)
Rear passenger seat with ISOFIX
Side and rear facing seats with ISOFIX
Seats without ISOFIX
IMPORTANT: If you wish to install your Axkid car seat in a location where a frontal airbag is fitted, the airbag must be disconnected
according to your vehicle manufacturer instruction. Note that some vehicles require an authorized service center to disconnect the
airbag.
* The General Regulation of Traffic in Spain, in its article 117, establishes the prohibition of driving with children of stature equal to or less
than 135 centimetres located in the front seats of the vehicle, without exceptions.
Never install a child restraint in a passenger seat
where an active airbag is fitted.
Adjusting the seat
The seat angle can be adjusted in three different positions. This can be done both before the child is seated or with the child in the seat.
To adjust the seat angle:
• Pull the recline adjustment lever (I) and push or pull the seat to intended seat position.
• Release the Recline adjustment lever (I) and the seat will then lock in one of the three fixed positions.
If needed, add the headrest insert (K). We recommend using the insert if your child is younger than approximately 18 months to ensure an
appropriate fit.
