Cleaning and disinfection
Clean and disinfect the full-face mask after every use.
WARNING
!
The mask body must be thoroughly cleaned so that no
residues from skin care products remain on it.
Otherwise the elasticity in the sealing range can be lost and
the mask will no longer fit correctly.
CAUTION
!
Do not use any solvents (e.g. acetone, alcohol) or cleaning
agents containing abrasive particles for cleaning and
disinfection. Use only the methods described and the listed
cleaning and disinfection agents. Other agents, dosages and
contact times may damage the product.
The undiluted agents are damaging to health if they come into
direct contact with the eyes or skin. For this reason, wear
safety goggles and protective gloves when working with
these agents.

Clean and disinfect the full-face mask as follows:
1. Remove any accessories and clean them separately, if required
2. Clean all components with lukewarm water and Sekusept
Cleaner with a soft cloth (temperature: max. 30 °C; concentration
depending on the degree of contamination: 0.5 - 1 %)
3. Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water.
4. Prepare a disinfectant bath made of water and Incidin
(temperature: max. 30 °C; concentration: 1.5 %)
5. Put all components that need disinfection into the disinfection bath
for 15 minutes.
6. Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water.
7. Allow all parts to air-dry or be dried in the drying cabinet
(temperature: max. 60 °C). Protect against direct sunlight. Do not
place the mask/helmet adapter on the face seal.
8. Grease the guides of the mask/helmet adapters with Voltalef or
Molykote 111.
9. Mount the accessories, if necessary.

The full-face mask can also be cleaned and disinfected in the
washing machine. Information can be obtained from Dräger.
