Basic grass trimming operation
 The area within a 10m radius of the product is a danger zone. Be careful to observe the following precautions while
working with the product.
 Keep people and animals out of the danger zone.
 If another people or animals enter the danger zone, turn off the unit and stop the blades.
 When approaching the operator, give a signal to him by, for example, throwing twigs at him from the outside of the
danger zone, and then check that the unit has been switched off and the blades has stopped moving.
When working with two or more person, decide how to signal each other and stay at least 10m away.

Any contact with the cutter blades could cause serious injury.
 Before work, remove any strings or wires that may get entangled around the cutting blade from the place where you
are working.
Wires entangled in the product may bounce off, causing accidents and serious injury.
 Observe the following when weeding.
 Do not use cracked blades
 Do not use the product with your hands outstretched or in places where your feet are
unstable
 Never use the product getting on a ladder or a stool.
 Keep both hands on handles while the unit is running. Do not operate the product
one-handed.
 Never let go of the handle when the cutting blades are moving.
This may cause an accident or serious injury.
 Before starting work, make sure that the wires are not hidden in the work site.
This may cause an electric shock.
 Do not cut hard objects such as wire or iron plates.
This may cause breakdowns or accidents.
 When removing foreign objects entangled in the cutting device, turn off the power
and then remove
The cutting blade may start moving suddenly, causing injury.
 When moving in the following cases, stop the cutting blade, turn off the power switch, and attach the
blade cover.
 When you move to the work site
 When you move to another location while working
 When returning from the workshop
Otherwise there is the risk of serious injuries.
 When transporting by car, remove the battery from the product.
Carrying the unit with the battery on the car, it may start moving unintentionally and become dangerous.
Moving around in the car with the battery installed may cause malfunction.
 Do not use in rain or in humid places, and do not leave it unattended.
This may cause electric shock or failure of this unit and battery.
 If automatic shutdown due to overload occurs frequently, the moter may overheat and break, so mow little by little to avoid
overloading.
Before operation a complete check of the unit must be performed;
 Check unit for loose/missing nuts, bolts and screws.Tighten and/or replace as needed.
 Never adjust blades when the unit is operating.
 Check that the blade assembly is firmly attached and in safe operating condition. Dull, loose or damaged blades should not be
used.
 Make sure the lock latch is securely locked.
