1 Top panel (stainless steel, tempered glass, enamelled)

4. Operation

4.1 How to activate the burners

1. Press the knob and turn it in anti-clockwise direction to max. setting; then the
burner will ignite.
2. Ensure that the flame is established properly before you release the knob
3. If the burner fails to ignite, set to off-position and try again.
4. In case of a power failure or failure of ignition, a match or lighting device can be
used. Be careful when using this method. RISK OF BURNS!
5. The ignition device shall not be operated for more than 15 seconds. If the
burner has not lit after 15 seconds, stop operating and open a room door or
window. Wait at least 1 minute before operating the ignition device again.
6. If the burner flames extinguish accidentally, set the knob to off-position. Do
not try to ignite again for at least 1 minute.
7. If you cannot ignite the burner flame even after several attempts, check the
proper position of all burner components.
