8. TROUBLESHOOTING

The most common problems and their
solutions are listed below:
DEFECT
Arc cut-out
Welder cuts out after pro-
longed use
Unit cuts out and "E.Ln"
appears on display panel

CAUSE
Poor earth clamp-work-
piece connection.
Unit overheated and ther-
mal protection device has
set in
Insufficient mains voltage.
SOLUTION
Tighten clamp grip
Leave the unit to cool
down for at least 20-30
minutes.
Check extension cable is
not too long and/or of an
inappropriate cross-sec-
tion
