Issue
Image too dark, too
little illumination
No image on the
monitor

Store the device in a dry, well-ventilated, temperature-controlled room, where it is
protected from dust.
When placing into storage or storing temporarily, make sure that the device can-
not be damaged by its surroundings.
To avoid damage, keep out of direct sunlight and away from radioactivity and
strong electromagnetic radiation.
The ambient conditions for transport, storage, and operation are described in
section 5.2.

Glass surfaces on camera
head are soiled
Stubborn residue on the glass
surfaces
Light guide defective
Camera brightness set too
low
Endoscope optical system
defective
Light output set too dark
Connection cable not con-
nected or defective

3.8 Storage and Transport
Fixes
Clean glass surfaces (chapter 4)
Remove residue (chapter 4)
Connect a new light guide. Send in for repair
Increase camera brightness
If the image is too dark even without the camera,
use a different endoscope and send in the endo-
scope for repair
Increase the light output at the light source
Connect the camera head to the controller.
Check the plug for moisture. If the cable is defec-
tive, send it in for repair
