other sizes, especially those subject to wear, could damage your bike and/or
create a safety hazard.
The use of non-original spare parts or parts not recommended by Cicli
Pinarello, and any repair, maintenance and service performed by unauthorised
personnel will void the warranty and CE marking.

8. USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE
BATTERY AND BATTERY CHARGER
This section provides the main instructions on the use of the battery. For more detailed and
specific information please refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer of the pedal assist
system.
We recommend that you follow the instructions in the TQ manual for safe use of the pedal
assistance system, especially the battery.
CHARGING AND USE OF THE BATTERY
A full charge is strongly recommended before the first use of the cycle.
The battery must be charged with an original TQ charger. Always charge it before use. Battery
charging time is about 3-4 hours. We recommend the use of a genuine TQ battery.
To charge the battery, simply connect the battery charger connector to the charging port on the
left side of the motor area.
When charging the battery, use the specified TQ charger and follow the
instructions for charging conditions. Failure to follow these instructions may
result in overheating, explosion or ignition of the battery.

The battery charge level is indicated on the display, in the centre of the screen as well as on the
dedicated page where the percentage is also shown.

Always charge the battery after every ride. If the battery will not be used for a long period of time,
make sure you charge it to between 30% and 60%.

commissioning and on battery storage procedures, including times, temperatures and long
periods of storage.
