Procedure
Start the self-test
1. Press the Self Test button.
The LED flashes, the inverters are disconnected from the
grid, the display shows StArt and tESt alternately.
Test for undervoltage
2. The display shows the minimum grid voltage setting
(minimum undervoltage) for 2 seconds.
3. When the switch-off limit has reached the actual grid
voltage the display shows uLo and the deviation from the
nominal grid voltage alternately. The LED illuminates.
Test for overvoltage
4. Press the Self Test button within 1 minute. The LED
flashes.
5. The display shows the maximum grid voltage setting
(maximum overvoltage) for 2 seconds.
6. When the switch-off limit has reached the actual grid
voltage the display shows uHi and the deviation from the
nominal grid voltage alternately. The LED illuminates.
Test for frequency too low
7. Press the Self Test button within 1 minute. The LED
flashes.
8. The display shows the current minimum grid frequency
setting.
9. When the switch-off limit has reached the actual grid fre-
quency the display shows FLo and the deviation from the
nominal grid frequency alternately. The LED illuminates.
Test for frequency too high
10. Press the Self Test button within 1 minute. The LED
flashes.
11. The display shows the current maximum grid frequency
setting.
12. When the switch-off limit has reached the actual grid fre-
quency the display shows FHi and the deviation from the
nominal grid frequency alternately. The LED illuminates.
End the self-test
13. Press the Self Test button within 1 minute. The LD illumi-
nates, the display shows the following:
No error present: tESt and PASS displayed alter-
–
nately
Error present tESt and FAIL displayed alternately
–
14. Press the Self Test button within 1 minute. The self-test
ends and the monitoring unit enters the normal operat-
ing mode.
