Monitoring unit
9.1.1
General information
The monitoring unit functions fully automatically.
9.1.2
Information on the display
During normal operation the display shows the total amount
of energy supplied by the system. In certain situations, spe-
cial system messages are shown on the display (error codes).
More information on this is provided in Display messages.
9.1.3
Self-test
Function
During the self-test the monitoring unit checks for correct
switch-off behaviour relating to the limits for grid voltage
and grid frequency. To do this, the monitoring unit adjusts its
switch-off limit step by step, upwards/downwards from the
set minimum/maximum limit value.
As soon as the adjusted switch-off limit reaches the actual
grid voltage/frequency then the monitoring unit switches off.
The following are checked:
• Undervoltage
• Overvoltage
• Frequency too low
• Frequency too high
