CAUTION

The appliance is heavy and bulky.
■ Get another person to help with mov-
ing and installation.
■ Do not use the door and door handle
as a step or for lifting.
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the microwave
may result in damage or cause a fire.
Heat trapped inside the appliance may
shorten its service life.
■ Ensure sufficient ventilation. Do not
cover the vents, for example with
oven mitts or cookery books!
■ When installing the appliance, follow
the dimension specifications for ven-
tilation.
■ Never remove the cover that is fas-
tened inside the cooking chamber!
It serves to protect the magnetron,
which emits the microwaves.

■ Do not use sharp objects to unpack
the appliance.
Moving and unpacking
•
Move the appliance using a trolley or with
a second person.
•
Carefully unpack the device and remove
all packaging items, plastic profiles, ad-
hesive strips and foam padding from in-
side, outside and from the back plate of
the device.
Installing the appliance
The appliance can be installed in a tall cup-
board or underneath a work surface. The
following conditions must be observed at all
times:

Install the unit only in a cabinet with an
open back panel.
If necessary, have your built-in furniture
reworked accordingly. If you do not have
the manual skills to do this, you should
hire a professional.

Install the appliance only in furniture
whose veneer or plastic coverings are
bonded with heat-resistant adhesive
(100 °C). If the adhesive and surfaces are
not heat-resistant, the covering may warp
and come loose.
•
Note that an earthed socket is installed in
the alcove or its immediate vicinity (see
the following section, "Connection").
•
Do not place the appliance directly next
to a refrigerator or freezer. Heat loss un-
necessarily increases their energy con-
sumption.
•
Position the unit at least 2 m away from
radio devices, televisions, etc., to prevent
the reception from being disrupted.
