Example 1: Single-room application with a
PP 45 unit pair
Recommendation:
Operate PP 45 devices in pairs.

Example 2: Ventilation solution for a 3-room
flat with PPB 30 K (bathroom) and PP 45
(living spaces) ventilation units.
The PPB 30 K aerates and ventilates the
bathroom at the same time with balanced
operation. A PPB 30 K fan ventilates the room
with air which has been pre-warmed in the
heat exchanger. The other PPB 30 K fan
transfers the heat energy from the exhaust air
to the heat exchanger during air extraction.
Every 60 seconds, the air direction changes,
thereby permitting a ventilation mode with
constant heat recovery.
In case of high air humidity, intensive venti-
lation can be activated via a humidity sensor
(automatically) or manually with a button.
Pure exhaust air mode is also possible and
here the two fans pump humidity out of the
room (no heat recovery).
