Problem
The flexible induction
cooking area does not
heat up the cookware.
The indicator above the
symbol comes on.
The control bar blinks.
The control bar blinks
twice and turns off.
The control bar for hood
blinks and the hood does
not start or turns off.
Possible cause
The cookware is in a wrong
position on the flexible in‐
duction cooking area.
The diameter of the bottom
of the cookware is incorrect
for the activated function or
function mode.
Child Safety Device or
Lock operates.
There is no cookware on
the zone or the zone is not
fully covered.
The cookware is unsuita‐
ble.
The diameter of the bottom
of the cookware is too
small for the zone.
FlexiBridge (Flexible
Bridge) operates. One or
more sections of the func‐
tion mode which operates
are not covered by the
cookware.
PowerSlide operates. Two
pots are placed on the flex‐
ible induction cooking area
or the cookware covers
more than one cooking
area activated by the func‐
tion.
The fan may turn off by it‐
self in certain conditions,
e.g. when the room is not
properly ventilated.

Place the cookware in the
correct position on the flexi‐
ble induction cooking area.

function or function mode.

Use cookware with a diame‐
ter applicable to the activa‐
ted function or function
mode. Refer to "Flexible in‐
duction cooking area".

Put cookware on the zone so
that it fully covers the cook‐
ing zone.
Use cookware suitable for in‐
duction hobs. Refer to "Hints
and tips".
Use cookware with correct
dimensions. Refer to "Tech‐
nical data".
Place the cookware on the
correct number of sections of
the function mode which op‐
erates or change the func‐
tion mode. Refer to "Flexible
induction cooking area".
Use only one pot. Refer to
"Flexible induction cooking
area".
Open the window. You may
need to install the window
switch. Refer to "Assembly".
If the window switch is al‐
ready present, make sure it
was correctly installed. Refer
to the installation booklet.
Press any symbol. The hood
operates again.
