Important user information

The glass ceramic hob is intended to be fitted
in a kitchen worktop or similar fixture. If you
have the requisite skills, you can fit the hob
yourself. However, the electrical connection

Installation site

– The built-in furniture must have coverings
and the adhesives used must be heat-re-
sistant (100 °C). If this is not the case, this
can lead to deformation or detachment of
the covering surface.
– Do not install the hob directly next to a re-
frigerator or freezer. This will increase its
energy consumption unnecessarily due to
heat emission.

Minimum distances

Hob electronics must be able to cool down in
order to ensure safe operation. That is why
all minimum clearances must be adhered to
during installation:
(a) The distance between the hob and the
extractor hood must be at least 760 mm.
(b) To ensure sufficient cooling, the hob must
be separated from the rest of the built-
in unit/oven by a horizontal fixing plate
made out of wood. A free space measur-
ing at least 50 mm in height must be kept
between the hob and the fixing plate.
You may need to saw off or remove ex-
isting side walls or drawers.
(c) The air vent below the hob must have a
free space of at least 20 mm to ensure
the supply of cold air (d).
(e) At least 5 mm of free space must be kept
on the front of the kitchen cabinet/oven.
(k) The hob must be surrounded by at least
50 mm of worktop on all sides.
