• Always wear sturdy footwear and long trousers
when working with or on the device. Do not use the
lawnmower if barefoot or wearing sandals.
• Check the terrain where the device will be used and
remove all stones, sticks, wires, bones and other
foreign objects that may be caught up by the device,
to ensure that people are not endangered.
When using
• Do not operate the device when people (especially
children) or animals are in the immediate vicinity.
• Stop working with the device if you notice that peo-
ple (especially children) or pets are nearby.
• Working on steep slopes can be dangerous.
- Make sure you stand securely and mow slowly.
- Always mow across the slope and not up and
down.
- Exercise special caution when changing direc-
tion. There is a risk of tripping!
- Never mow on steep slopes.
• Take particular care when mowing backwards or
pulling the lawnmower towards you.
• Do not tip the lawnmower when you switch on the
motor.
• Keep to the safety distance set by the push bars.
• Only switch on the motor when your feet are at a
safe distance from the cutter bar.
• Be careful and do not reach into the rotating cutter
bar.
• Switch off the lawnmower when tipping or transport-
ing it, e.g. to/from the lawn or across paths.
• Never drive over gravel with the motor running.
There is a danger of people or property being hit
by flying stones!
• Before lifting or carrying away the lawnmower,
switch off the motor and wait until the cutter bar
has come to a standstill.
• Only adjust the cutting height when the engine is
switched off and the cutter bar is stationary.
• Never open the discharge flap when the motor is
still running.
• Before removing the grass collection basket, switch
off the motor and wait for the cutter bar to stop. After
emptying the grass collection basket, fasten it care-
fully and make sure that the grass collection basket
is securely fastened to the lawnmower.
• Avoid mowing wet grass if possible.
• Do not work with the gardening tool in an explo-
sive environment where flammable liquids, gases
or dusts may be located. The gardening tool can
create sparks which may ignite the dust or vapours.
• During interruptions to work, never leave the device
unattended and store it in a safe location.
• Operating the machine with excessive speed can
increase the risk of accidents.
• Be careful when adjusting the machine and avoid
trapping fingers between the moving cutting tool and
rigid parts of the machine
• Be particularly careful when mowing on yielding
ground, nearby rubbish tips, ditches and dykes.
• Check the device regularly and make sure that all
start locks and push buttons are working properly
before each use.
• Please note that improper maintenance, the use of
non-compliant spare parts, or the removal or mod-
ification of safety devices can result in damage to
the device and serious injury to the person working
with it.
• Please note that the lawnmower's safety systems
or equipment must not be tampered with or deac-
tivated.
• Please note that the user must not change or ma-
nipulate any sealed engine speed control settings.
• Use only cutting tools and accessories recommend-
ed by the manufacturer. Use of other tools and ac-
cessories may result in injury to the user.
• Always keep the lawnmower in good operating
condition.
After use
• Switch off the device, remove the security key and
then put the device in a safe place.
• Do not store the device within reach of children.
• Ensure that the ventilation slots on the device are
always free from contamination.
• Check the tightness of all screws, nuts and bolts to
ensure that the lawnmower is in a safe condition.
• Check the grass collection basket regularly for wear.
• Use only cutter bars intended for this lawnmower.
• Spare parts must comply with the requirements
specified by the manufacturer. Therefore only use
original spare parts or spare parts approved by
the manufacturer. When replacing parts, please
observe the installation instructions provided and
remove the battery beforehand.
• Have repairs carried out only by a qualified specialist
or a specialist workshop.
