5.2 Further safety features

Overheating protection
A temperature sensor equipped can monitor the tempera-
ture inside the hob.
When an excessive temperature is monitored, the hob will
stop operation automatically.
Residual heat warning
When a cooking zone has been operating for some time,
there will be some residual heat.
To warn you to keep away from it, an will be displayed on
the corresponding cooking zone indicator.
Magnet monitoring
If small non-compliant or non-magnetic objects are used
on the hob, the hob switches off automatically after one
minute. The display shows .
Automatic shutdown
Another safety feature of the hob is auto shut down.
Whenever you forget to switch off a cooking zone, it switches
off automatically after a standard switch-off time of 2 hours.
