Using the tare function

The tare function is designed to determine the difference between the gross or total
weight and the net weight of an item. It is required when weighing items which cannot
be weighed on their own.
The tare function makes it possible to reset the display

The weight of the item placed on the scale will be shown on the display.
You now know the weight of the item.

– Once the container weight has been tared, the display will show the
weight of the container (tare weight) as a negative value after it is
removed from the weighing platform. Pressing the "Tare" button after
unloading the weighing surface clears the tare weight.
– Then place the items to be weighed on the scale, making sure that
the sum of the additional weight and the tare weight does not exceed
the maximum capacity.

Using the count function

With the count function you can set a reference weight for a certain number of an item
to be weighed so that you can count larger quantities of the item to be weighed. Each
individual piece of the item to be weighed must weigh the same.
1. Switch on the scale
2. Place a container on the weighing platform
3. To select the count function, press the "UNIT" button
display.
4. Press the "Zero" button
