Changing the rope drum

On the drive side, loosen the three screws*
that connect the cable drum to the Optinut
roller tube's fabric rail.

Self-tapping screw ISR ISO 14586-ST4.2x38

Flat-head tapping screw ISR ISO 14585-

The drive assembly group, together with the
rope drum, can be pulled out of the Optinut
roller tube.
Proceed in the same way on the other side,
just the rope drum with the roller tube insert is
pulled out of the Optinut roller tube.
Replace all dowels in the Optinut roller tube
with the new supplied dowels. Make sure that
the new dowels are fully inserted and
correctly aligned (A).
Slide the drive with the new rope drum and
actuator into the Optinut roller tube
On the bearing side, slide the new rope drum
with the new supplied roller tube insert onto
the Optinut roller tubes.
Make sure that the rope openings in the rope
drum are aligned on both sides of the system.
Screw the new rope drums on both sides of
the Optinut roller tube again.
