Upon initial use, we recommend adding desired favorites to
the top menu level so that they can be easily and conveniently
used for daily work.
11.2 Additional tests
MACHEREY-NAGEL regularly updates the tests available for the PF-3.
Newly available parameters can also be subsequently loaded onto the
device free of charge. The corresponding program can be found at
www.mn-net.com/nanocolor-geraete-updates.
11.3 VISOCOLOR
Only the associated mains adapter GTM46101-1005-USB (REF
919220) may be used.
Multiple hazards: Only qualified staff may carry out the instructions
described in this section.
Risk of electrical shock: When used for operation, ensure that the
USB cable and mains adapter used do not show any signs of
damage. Check the suitability of the voltage source for the device.
Damage due to condensation and violation of the temperature limits:
The device is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Do not expose
the device to direct sunlight. During use outdoors, protect the
interfaces from exposure to humidity and moisture.
Risk of fire: When using an external power supply, ensure that the
power outlet is not overloaded. There is a risk of overload and fire.
Ensure that the mains adapter including cable does not show any
signs of damage. Check the suitability of the voltage source used for
the device. Use only the mains adapter recommended by
MACHEREY-NAGEL.
Risk of injury: Familiarize yourself with the device before working with
it and read this document carefully. Use the device only if you have
been trained in how to handle it.
