5. Measuring

5.1. Test selection

To start a measurement, you need to select the respective test
first. You can do so using the
VISOCOLOR
activated on the upper menu level as favorites. These tests can be
activated or deactivated (see 6.1, page 23 ). All NANOCOLOR
tests are initially deactivated, but can be activated any time via the
settings menu.
Some tests feature multiple submethods to show different units.
These submethods are saved within the instrument as a normal
test. Thus, you can choose exactly the right unit / submethod that is
relevant to your measurements.
Note: We recommend to assign your favorite measurements to the
upper menu level when you first use the instrument, so that you can
measure exactly the tests you need for your work quickly and easily.

5.2. Additional tests

In many cases, the wavelengths built into each version of the in-
strument enable determining additional tests and parameters,
which are not included in the initial instrument version. If avail-
able, you can download such tests free of charge via the internet
and add them with a small software tool to the instrument. You
can find the respective software and a list with available tests at
www.mn-net.com/PF-3.
5.3. VISOCOLOR
The PF-3 is
NANOCOLOR
a manual with pictogram test instructions. The manual is included
in the case versions of the instrument and available for down-
load under www.mn-net.com. The instructions on how to run the
NANOCOLOR
the kits.
An additional difference between the two test systems is that
VISOCOLOR
