Troubleshooting

The LED status indicates faults during operation of the EV charging box. If the EV charging box is
connected to the AC SMART App or accessible via the web server, then detailled fault descriptions and
troubleshooting measures will be listed in the AC SMART App and in the web server.

12.1 LED status indicators

LED status indicators
The LED is not illuminated. The function LED inactivity

► If the fault cannot be corrected with the measures described, contact Weidmüller Service or commis-
sion an electrician to correct the fault.

12.2 Handling load/charge management

Fault
The charging process does
not start.
Possible cause
is active and the LED status
indicator went out after the
set time.
The RFID tag is not
registered.
The charging process was
started with another RFID
tag.
There is an error associated
with the connected vehicle.
There is an error.
Possible cause
Load/charge management is activated
and the connected vehicle is on the
waiting list.
Recommended action
► Check the settings in the AC SMART App
or the web server.
► Commission an electrician to correct the
fault.
► Hold a registered RFID tag in front of the
interaction surface to start a charging
process.
► To stop a charging process, hold the same
registered RFID tag in front of the interac-
tion surface with which you released the
charging process.
► Disconnect the charging plug from the
vehicle and the EV charging box.
► Connect the vehicle to the EV charging
box once again.
► If the error is still present, start the
AC SMART App or the web server.
The error is displayed.
► Follow the troubleshooting instructions,
see page 102.
► Switch off the residual current protective
device.
► Switch the residual current protective
device back on after 10 seconds.
► If the error still occurs, start the
AC SMART App or the web server.
The error is displayed.
► Follow the troubleshooting instructions,

Recommended action
► Provide the minimum charging
current of 6 A.
