FIRST USE

1. Inserting batteries
The unit works with 2 AAA batteries (not included).
Open the battery cover on the back of the Thermo Color using a screwdriver. Insert the batteries, matching the correct
polarity (the polarities are shown on the inside of the battery compartment). If you do not intend to use this unit for a
prolonged period of time, it is advisable to remove the batteries before storage.
2. Setting the clock
The first time that you use this thermometer or after having changed the batteries, you should set the clock.
• Open the battery compartment using a screwdriver.
• Press the time set button. The hour digits will flash.
• Press the Power On/Off «START» button on the thermometer in order to adjust them.
• Confirm by pressing the time set button. The minutes digits will flash.
• Press the Power On/Off «START» button on the thermometer in order to adjust them.
• Confirm by pressing the time set button.
If the time is set, the thermometer will go into standby mode after 30 seconds and the screen will display the room
temperature and the time alternately.
If the time is not set, the thermometer will turn off automatically after around 30 seconds.
