InSUS H60i for Single-Use O
If the sensor head is used with a 4-wire transmitter (M400/
M800), the sensor head is powered by the transmitter. In this
case, no additional power supply is needed. For installation
with 2-wire and BUS transmitters (M400/2(X)H; M400 FF;
M400 PA) and for direct integration with a nA or mA signal,
an additional power supply is required.

4 Operation
4.1 Calibration
Calibration must be performed every time an InSUS O
gle-use sensor is connected to the InSUS H60i. For most
applications, a single point calibration should be sufficient.
The calibration medium can be either air or a calibration gas
with known O
O concentration. Before starting a calibration in gas, the cor-

rect pressure and the correct humidity have to be set in the
transmitter. For detailed information please refer to the trans-
mitter or biocontroller manual.
5 Maintenance

5.1 Visual Inspection

To check your sensor head, we recommend the following
procedure:
• The contacts of the connector must be dry and clean:
moisture, corrosion and dirt in the connector can lead to
false readings.
• Check the cable for buckling, brittle areas or ruptures.
• For protection of the optical tip of the InSUS H60i from
damage and dirt, reattach the protective cap to the sensor
head whenever the InSUS H60i is not connected to an
InSUS O

Environmental Protection

Waste electrical products should not be disposed
of with household waste. Please recycle where
facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or
retailer for recycling advice.
7 Warranty
On manufacturing defects, 12 months after delivery.

Storage Conditions

Please inspect the instrument immediately after receiving for
any transport damage. The sensor head should be stored in
a dry, clean and protected area until the time of installation.
If the sensor head has been removed from the process, it
should be thoroughly cleaned and dried. It should be stored
in a dry, clean and protected area until time of installation.
