Settings for target training
This computer has four target training modes: time, counter, distance and
calories (if the word "SCAN" flashes on the screen when you switch to the
target function, you must press the "MODE" button again to stop the search
function and the word "SCAN" will no longer appear on the screen.
Training mode target time: First press the MODE button to switch to the
"TIME" function. Then press the UP or DOWN buttons to set the target time
(press and hold the Up and Down buttons to speed up the setting). Stop
pressing the button as soon as the desired time is reached. You can then put
the unit into operation. On the screen, the countdown starts counting down.
When the countdown reaches zero, the time function flashes to indicate that
the training target has been reached. If you continue training at this point, the
computer will automatically start counting up from zero.
Training mode target number: First, press the MODE button to switch to the
"COUNT" function. Then press UP and DOWN buttons to set the target number
(hold UP and DOWN buttons to speed up setting). When the desired number is
reached, stop pressing the button. Then use the unit. The countdown starts on
the display. When the countdown reaches zero, the counting function flashes
to indicate that the training target has been reached. If you continue training,
the computer will automatically start counting up from zero.
Training mode DISTANCE: First press the MODE button to switch to the
"DIST" function. Then press UP and DOWN buttons to set the target distance
(hold UP and DOWN buttons to speed up setting). Then start using the unit.
The countdown starts on the display. When the countdown reaches zero, the
distance function flashes to indicate that the training target has been reached.
If you continue training at this point, the computer will automatically start
counting up from zero.
CALORIE target training mode: First, press the MODE button to switch to the
"CAL" function. Then press UP and DOWN buttons to set the target calorie
count (hold UP and DOWN buttons to speed up setting). When the desired
calorie count is reached, stop pressing the button. Then start using the unit.
The countdown starts on the display. When the countdown reaches zero, the
calorie function flashes to indicate that the training target has been reached.
If you continue training at this point, the computer will automatically start
counting up from zero.
